Bigfoot is believed to be a large hairy creature that resembles a human-like ape, and a large amount 0f Bigfoot pictures have tried to prove the existence of this mystical animal. Also called Sasquatch, Bigfoot is one of the weird animals that scientists claim are just products of folklore and imagination, but that many people believe exist.
The ape-like large being is said to live in remote forests in parts of North America. It walks on two feet, and is approximately two to three meters (6 to 10 feet) tall, with a weight of at least 230 kg or 500 pounds. Those who claim to have seen the creatures say that the hair is dark brown, or has a dark red shade, and that the eyes are big, the head is round and the forehead is low. The features described by witnesses are similar to that of a male gorilla, and the animal is said to also have a very strong smell.
The giant footprints have given it the name Bigfoot, and are said to be as long as 60 cm (or 24 inches) and as wide as 20 cm (8 inches). Some footprints have had two toes while some have had six, although a five-toe foot is the most common sighting. There have also been claw marks on some prints, which makes it possible that the tracks have been made by a bear or another big animal. Bigfoot is also said to move around mainly at night and to be an omnivore.
Most scientists say it is impossible for a large ape such as Bigfoot to exist in the forests of North America in the modern day, and especially to continue breeding. Many of the photos are proven to be hoaxes, but this has not affected the interest in the strange human-like animal, and new Bigfoot photographs keep appearing regularly.
