Menu Cover Designs and Ideas

One of the keys to success of any restaurant is the attention paid to details.  Your menu covers represent one aspect to these smaller points. If you are an owner or manager yourself, you should choose with attention the covers for your menus. That’s because when a client comes for the first time, their first impression is all you’ve got to work with.  They begin forming them from the moment they come in until the moment they leave.  And, the one thing that ALL guests have in common in your restaurant is that each of them will hold one of your menus.  Guests should be really impressed if you want them to come daily or weekly to your establishment.

No matter what type of food your restaurant is serving, you should choose the right cover for the menu. Keep in mind that your restaurant’s menu must be appealing and whet the appetite of your guests, but this is not the only thing to consider.  The style and way that they convey what your restaurant is all about are also key components to consider.

If you are looking to buy menu covers, you have to know that there are 3 possibilities from which you can choose. There are specialized companies that sell them and have a brick and mortar type of store.  They also likely sell other restaurant items and supplies.  The second option that is available is to search on the internet where you will find many websites selling these items.  You can also browse Amazon and other large sites that sell about anything.  You can also choose to make your own if you are handy or crafty and have a smaller niche or need.  Just know that the ones you make yourself will likely be less durable than the other manufactured ones.

Along those same lines, however, if you want your ‘own’ you can have a custom menu cover made.  These come in a variety of materials and sizes.  You can choose among wood, metal and other fabric designs.  With the trend in eco-friendly products and materials, things like bamboo and cork have also become popular items to use for a cover material.
