Most people get so excited about buying an acer pink laptop that they fail to properly consider some key concerns before buying. They get blown away by the bells and whistles, or the sales representative fast-talks them into the latest and greatest and the sad result is that they end up with either an overpriced model that they don’t need, or they don’t get the best computer they could have gotten for the money they had to spend. Here are three things to be sure you know before you even set foot in a computer store.
1. Cheap is not always a good value. Don’t shop on price alone. You need your pink laptop to be built well and able to withstand normal use, wear and tear. If you go with the cheapest model, not only will you probably not get that, you’re likely to miss out on a lot of extras that you might have needed. So carefully compare the available laptops and select based on your needs, not price.
2. The price displayed is less than the final cost. Even if you purchase online, there will be tax. You will need some accessories like a wireless mouse, a spare battery, a service warranty. A leather laptop bag would be a nice addition to your new purchase too. For the most part, the final amount you’ll pay will be around $80 more than the cost you started out with.
3. Do plan to buy the extended warranty. Figure this into your budget right up front. Laptops are especially vulnerable to breaking, due to the fact that they can be moved from place to place, and are used wherever there is Wi-Fi, which is usually where there is food and drink being served. The fans tend to overheat as well, since we don’t always put them where they can get sufficient air space to stay cool. The extended warranty will usually pay for itself if you keep your pink laptop longer than two years.
