Wearing Colored Contact Lenses is Fun

Wearing colored contact lenses can be a lot of fun. You are able to transform your normal everyday look into a variety of different colors and in some cases even shapes. There are three kinds of colored contact lenses: visibility tints, enhancement tints, and opaque tints.

Visibility tints do not change the color of your eyes. A visibility tint has just a hint of blue or green on it so that you may better see it while placing it in your eye.

An enhancement tint is what the name implies. It is meant to be just a bit darker than your natural eye color. This is especially good for someone who may have very light colored eyes.

And, of course, opaque color tints can completely change the color of your eyes. These types of contact lenses are very popular with many people who do not need to wear contact lenses at all. Even if you don’t need to wear contact lenses they are still an option for you. Many people wear them in addition to a costume, these are very popular at Halloween time. There is an array of colors to choose from. There are colors such as bright red, white, jet black, and so many other colors. With the simple use of contact lenses you can go from normal mom of two, to evil vampire mistress. You could go from serious business man during the day to Alien from the plant zurion at night. There are so many possibilities that the biggest problem you will encounter is which one to pick.

Costume and theatrical contact lenses fall into the category of opaque color tints. Many popular movies and plays use opaque colored contact lenses to aid in the correct eye color desired. A popular example is the hit movie Twilight.
