Think Pink When You Travel

by Flemin on June 30, 2010

Pink is becoming more of a fashion statement all around us today and its popularity is not limited just to the design of clothes. If you have waited for your bags at the carousel in an airport, you have  seen that pink luggage is not just for children anymore. Adult women proudly pull theirs for miles at a time. If that’s not a valid point for having a rolling bag, I don’t know what is.

Pink bags are not unlike their black or brown counterparts. They can be just as formal if you choose the right shade, and just as good quality. There are big pink rolling luggage sets, and there are small ones just like in any other color. The color itself does not make them inferior, but some of the cheap shots manufacturers take do.

If you see pink luggage sets that are only unique because of their color, run fast and far. The quality needs to be outstanding; the way it’s put together is the first and foremost indicator of how reliable it will be later. You want a reliable bag because it will hold all your clothes and personal knickknacks. Take your time and look around both online and in your local store to find one that’s reliable and from a respectable brand.

The second step to choosing a good one is to figure out what is it that you need exactly. Hard sided, soft covered, several different pouches and pockets, these all have their price tag, even if you see just one at the end. Choose one that will hold all the items you normally travel with, and does it safely. If it does not come with one buy a lock from a third party, if you must.

Try the wheels, as wheels are common weak points. If they don’t ride smoothly even at the first time in the shop, skip the luggage. It will only get worse from there. See if the bag has extra features. Most women don’t care about built-in extras, because they carry their mirrors and other small stuff around anyway.
