Your Ankle Bracelet Deserves A Jewelry Stand

by Flemin on July 26, 2010

If you’re one of those women who thoroughly enjoy the look and feel of an ankle bracelet, you no doubt have more than a few on hand. Like other types of jewelry, bracelets worn on the ankle can be as simple as a metal chain or as detailed as an Italian charm bracelet. Some are adorned with gemstones while others are more modest. All deserve to be stored on a quality jewelry stand.

Protecting your investment

One of the most important reasons for owning a jewelry stand for your ankle bracelet collection has to do with the protection that a stand offers. The most common configuration for a bracelet stand allows the bracelets to hang vertically – like a necklace – from any of a number of pegs on the top of the stand. The benefits of this are obvious: the bracelets each hang individually and thus are less likely to rub against one another. That rubbing can, over time, cause damage to the metal surface of the chain, and to any gemstones that are present.

Easier to find

The other main advantage of using a jewelry stand for your ankle bracelet collection has to do with locating the bracelet you want to wear. In a drawer or jewelry box, those bracelets can get bunched up and tangled together. This not only makes them hard to find, but difficult to untangle as well. When they are hanging on a stand, they remain untangled and easy to access.

In short, there is no reason for you not to own a jewelry stand for your precious ankle bracelet, and every reason for you to get one. The low cost of a new stand is sufficient incentive for most jewelry owners to invest in this wonderful storage device. Does your bracelet collection need a stand? Maybe not – but it definitely deserves one.
